As we reflect on the past year, we want to start with a sincere thank you for your continued support. Through the generosity of you - our donors, friends, and family – PFP has had one of the most successful years in the history of the program. Some highlights from this year include:
· The Occupational Life Skills program will be offered year-round to increase resources for pre-transitional clientele; developing post-secondary skills for the ages of 13-22 years of age, to best serve our clients seeking higher education and employment.
· More than 250 children, adolescents and adults with diverse abilities achieved countless goals and personal bests through our unique 3Q approach focused on quality of horse, quality of program, and quality of life.
· Two new equine partners were acquired to support ground level intervention. PFP equine partners are some of the highest quality horses in the country and, as such, are show quality, allowing them to participate in world class shows each year with the PFP Show Team.
· The 2023 Hoedown saw a sold-out crowd, reached the greatest online presence ever, and had a record setting year!
While 2023 has been nothing short of record breaking, your continued support is still needed to make a difference for our riders like Golda. A rider for several years now, her father shares a brief view into why they continue to rely on the programs at PFP.
“We have been coming to PFP since 2018. My daughter was seven years old and had participated in three other equine therapy programs that had PATH certified instructors. PFP, I can say with confidence, is the gold standard.
